How you can help

Ways to Volunteer

Adopt a Marker

Take responsibility for a specific trail marker — monitor its condition, report damage, and help keep it clean and visible for visitors.

Document the Trail

Help us photograph markers, document conditions, and build a complete photographic record of all 27 markers across southern Indiana.

Spread the Word

Share the trail with local historical societies, schools, libraries, and tourism boards. Help us grow awareness across the region.

Restoration Work

Join hands-on efforts to restore, repair, and reinstall missing or damaged markers. Physical and logistical help both needed.

Reach Out

Tell us how you'd like to help — or just ask a question. We read every message.

Can't volunteer? Donate.

Your donation will help restore and replace damaged signs and maintain them for future visitors. Educational material is part of this trail, and we plan to make that available — every dollar moves us closer to that goal.
